Meet Kayla

Kayla was born and raised in Seattle. She then attended The New School in New York City to study Fashion, but ultimately majored in Journalism. After graduating, she worked in communications and production, then spent 7 years in recruitment, placing executives in healthcare and renewable energy. She stayed in New York for 14 years before relocating back to the west coast in 2021. As the fourth generation in her family to do real estate, Kayla grew up hanging out in open houses. Her mother, an agent, was also an architect and her father a woodworker, and she is particularly drawn to and motivated by aesthetics and quality materials. She has also undertaken multiple projects on her own home in the Hollywood Hills and understands the feasibility of home improvement visions. She prides herself on being transparent, making both the buying and selling process painless, and obsessive about finding the perfect home for her clients. Before starting in real estate, Kayla wrote and illustrated a children's book about produce. Outside of work she is a pilates fanatic and loves animals.
